Company Overview & Capabilities
Z&Z Manufacturing, LLC was established in 2002 as an architectural cast manufacturer, dealing with mainly custom GFRC and GFRG cast parts for local commercial and gaming projects. While we still consider ourselves a cast manufacturer. We have branched out into a wide array of specialties and capabilities. Some of these specialties and trades include:
  • GFRC
  • GFRG
  • FRP
  • Precast
  • Forton MG
  • Specialty light gauge framing/ assembly
  • Light Millwork
  • Light Metal Fabrication
Using state of the art technology and equipment, we are able to provide contractors with many options and building solutions. Anything from custom attachments and templates to extremely accurate molds. All of these aid contractors by making installation and/or assembly quicker and more cost effective. We are able to make all these construction aids using precision wood, foam, metal and stone cutting machinery, namely:
  • 3 Axis CNC Router
  • CNC Waterjet
  • CNC Laser
In addition to the products we produce, we strive to do everything we can to assist the project contractors, designers and architects in every phase of construction.

Starting with the estimating phase.
We pride ourselves on working with our customer to quickly get them clear and itemized estimates. From initial budgeting, all the way to last minute change orders.

During the pre-construction phase, we do our utmost to collaborate with our customer along with any designers, architect or installers that maybe involved the project, to devise the most efficient and cost effective methods in exceeding the owners expectations of the final product.

Engineering & Drafting

Using the original drawings and implementing the methods and techniques devised in the planning stage, our engineering dept. work with the contractor’s engineers to create well thought out, easy to read shop drawings.

In addition:
  • We provide complete design assist documents.
  • We envision the designers intent and turn it into a complete design, fully detailed and ready for fabrication.
  • We model our parts to ensure accurate dimensions, precise fitment and functional assembly.
Along with the dimensions of each part and their installation method, the drawings contain (unless not given sufficient information) enlarged plan views, elevations and/or labeled and color coded part installation layouts that clearly mark where every part should be installed.

Project Management & Part tracking

We utilize a cloud based shared folder to collaborate with the contractor’s project managers and superintendent. The shared folder contains all necessary part MSDS, shop drawings in both CAD and PDF, copies of delivery packing slips. We use spreadsheets and a web based project management software (maven link) to track part production and deliveries. Both can be accessed by the contractor’s project managers and those they deem necessary.

Quality Assurance & Control

We currently have and implement a QA/QC plan that explains our fabrication and manufacturing means and methods. As well as the individual in charge of each process and that individuals duties. To insure we only send out correct and quality products, the QA/QC plan also contains a QC form. A QC form is filled out for every part and/or part # and follows the part through the fabrication and manufacturing process. Once complete the QC Manager has to check the part and sign the QC form before the part can be shipped out.
